Over 25 acres of the land have been reserved for recreational facilities and natural beauty.

The community features two swimming pools and a picturesque five-acre lake.  The lake's half-mile perimeter path invites the residents to a leisurely stroll or a vigorous run.

Pinewood Lake is convenient to major shopping malls, grocery stores, county parks and recreation facilities, schools, libraries, churches, health care and county government offices.
