Muddy Hole Park features basketball, tennis courts, soccer
and baseball fields, picnic facilities and a play ground.
Muddy Hole Park
is immediately adjacent to Pinewood Lake, behind Arendale Square,
and the western end of Central Park Circle, within easy walking
distance of most of Pinewood Lake. A small "family-sized" park, it
has playground equipment and a basketball court.

Huntley
Meadows Park invites you to enjoy 1,425 acres of wetlands,
forests and meadows. A 1/2-mile boardwalk trail and observation
tower allows you to view various wild life in their natural habitat.
Huntley
Meadows Park borders the back side of Central Park Circle,
and is the largest park in Fairfax County, containing 1,425 acres of
diverse habitats including wetlands, meadows and mature forest. Its
animal residents include fox, deer, beaver, otter and over 200
species of birds. There is a two-thirds mile boardwalk through the
wetlands that leads to an observation tower. To reach the park from
Pinewood Lake, go north on Route One (Richmond Highway), to Lockeed
Boulevard. Turn left onto Lockeed, and drive straight for about four
blocks. The park entrance is on your left.

George
Washington's Mount Vernon Estate is a historic icon. You may
also enjoy a visit to nearby Gunston Hall, home of George Mason, and
Woodlawn Plantation.
County Recreation
Centers feature indoor swimming, ice skating and fitness
facilities.
