Pinewood Lake is an established community of 542 Federal Period townhomes in Fairfax County, just south of the city of Alexandria, in Virginia and surrounded by over 1,400 acres of wooded park land (Huntley Meadows Park and Muddy Hole Park).  Developed on 92 acres of wooded land near Mount Vernon, and is part of the original Muddy Hole Farms of the George Washington estates.

-TRASH NOTICE: There will be regular trash collection on all holidays except for Christmas.  Trash that would regularly be collected on December 25 should be placed out for collection on Friday,  December 26.

-At the Board meeting on August 14, the Board approved a change to the Window Standard to allow for different configurations for the front bay windows and rear picture window.  Click here for details.

-At the Board meeting on June 12, 2008, the Board revised the Paint Standard to allow only Louisburg Green for rear fencing.  Natural fences are no longer permitted.

-The Board revised the new Paint Standard regarding side and rear fencing on June 12.  Click here to see the approved standard and paint appendix.  If you would like to see the paint samples, please come to the office between Noon and 3 PM Monday through Friday or 9 AM and Noon on Saturday.

-The Board revised the Deck and Fence Standards on May 8 to allow homeowners only on Saint Annes Court to have chain link fence beneath their decks.  Click here to view the revised standards.

-Karen Jones, the ACC Administrator, may now be reached by cell phone regarding any ACC questions.  Her number is 703-203-4506.

-Our towing policy went into effect on March 1, 2007.  Click here to read the resolution or here to read a brief pamphlet on the towing policy.  Make sure you are parking in accordance with our policy to avoid being towed.

-Special pickups consisting of mattresses, couches, and appliances may be placed at the curb on Mondays or Thursdays without a phone call.  Collection of any other special pickup items must be scheduled ahead of time by calling 703-360-6634.
